Does anyone know where this guesthouse was located in Sheffield? Help appreciated.

The crossroads of Sheffield. Streetscape work was pretty minimal.

Kentish was a densely wooded area when the pioneers arrived. A primeval forest. Trees were monsters.
The tree in the attached photo was 260 feet tall. Around 90 metres. The photo was taken at West Kentish. Can you see the people at the base of the tree?
Life would have been tough.

Council has experienced a fairly smooth six months or so. Councillors are working pretty well together. We disagree about things but usually find a way forward we can all live with.
The new medical precinct takes a lot of time. Darrin Cunningham is doing a lot of hard yards on this project.

A sad day. Des Jordan died this morning. Des has been a
strong supporter of myself over the past 3 years on Council. We
have talked for many hours on the phone together about local

I went to the opening of the new “little school” last week. It is impressive and a good use of the Federal Government’s stimulus money. It is much larger than I imagined and of course very modern.

A few weeks back I attended the launch of a bulk buy program for hot water units put on by KEENER at the Town Hall. It was a wild night weather wise. I did my best to record the presentation and attached are some documents also.

I headed to the Tandara Lodge AGM last night. The Mayor and Clr Deverell were also in attendance.
Tandara have had a slightly better year financially this year which is good. There have been plenty of achievements. Two new units have been built in Dyer Court and the Kentish Health Centre has been extended and refurbished. [...]

Stage 3 is underway and will continue down to Duff Drive. Power poles will be removed. Glad to see them go.
