We had a 1kw solar panel system installed yesterday. They got here at 7:30am. Got me out of bed! The system was installed in about 2 hours. I was impressed. Now the wait. I was told that it may be up to 8 weeks before Hydro come and install our new meter. Talk about an anti-climax.

Yes kerbside recycling starts this Friday morning. Don’t forget to put those bins out. The more we put in the recycle bins the less cost waste disposal will be to us as a community.

Got a letter in the mail from Veolia saying that rubbish collection days will change for different areas. Very confusing to know which area would be serviced which days. It had a Council letterhead on it which should not have been so considering council did not send the letter.
