Local Government Workshop

I am in Hobart attending a 2 day workshop and learning lots. I am all for learning new things as a new councillor. Topics covered have included public speaking, water and sewerage reform, the Local Government Act and Land Planning.

Bumpy Bit

I had a shop owner show me a bumpy section of pavement near the Post Office in Sheffield. I already knew it was there as I had stumbled (literally) on it.
Anyway just letting you know it is going to be smoothed out in the near future. Until then watch your step.

Sheffield Streetscape Stage Two

Council has approved stage two which will take works down around the RSL in Sheffield. Well you can't say we aren't getting anything done! I am keen to have a break after this stage and head down to Railton and continue their streetscape. We will have to see what the other [...]

Some people think I am a bit of a serious type. Well I probably am in some ways. I take Council very seriously. People voted for me so I am ripping into it.
